Make sure that the Default Thread Subscription Mode is set to Instant Email Notification, then simply go to your User Control Panel which will show you any new messages that have been posted to threads that you've subscribed to.

You can subscribe to any thread by using the "Thread Tools" drop down at the top of each thread.
