"Save The Day" weed appreciation thread!

Hey all,
So I just had a semi bummy day, coming off a pretty depressing weekend. But over this past weekend I always had bud so I wasn't too upset by any of it, but I get back to school with no bud and realizing that I wont be able to get bud for a while. So I was just about to go to sleep when my good friend gets online and I decide to stop and talk to her for a while and in her giving me some advice on some things the conversation leans towards 420. I check in my stash box just to poke around since we're talking about weed and i open up my grinder to see how much kief id collected. I take off the wrong side by accident and WHAM! I'm lookin at .5 gram of this haze I was smoking all weekend ground up and ready to be smoked. So she went to bed (HS kids and their bed times ) I smoked half of what I found and now I'm sittin here good and high about to watch the Incubus Look Alive DVD. Awsome way to end the day.

Anyone else ever find "save the day" weed.

Right before Christmas vacation, me and a good buddy who doesn't live that close to me anymore got to hang out since we were going to the same airport the next day. My roommate who doesn't smoke was gone, and everyone else was already back home for Christmas. Well, my buddy mentioned how great it would be to spend all day high (we both work so we can't pull that shit any more). I remember that when I'm high, I often leave myself little presents of nug to look for once I'm dry. I don't think of them when sober if I still have stuff left in my main stash so it works out - my memory's only jogged when I haven't smoked for a good while but I get a sudden inescapable urge. I look all around my room to eventually find some papers and a little nug of OG Kush. To conserve it, we use half the nug to roll a good-sized joint (probably .8g, maybe less), and the other half we divide evenly into two piles as I prepare a ghetto homemade waterfall.

Before we can smoke, though, we decide we're hungry, so we went to get some fried chicken to go. We return, decide to hook up my sound system to my Nintendo 64 (it's the only video game system I've owned), take some rips, and proceed to play Star Fox and Mario Kart like never before (with greasy chicken hands). The trippier, more fantastical games looked best when high, especially with all the bright Nintendo colors and the techno we were bumping through my computer into the sound system as well. We later went for a buzzed ride once it wore off, then we got impatient on the freeway, opened my sunroof, and blazed til we got home to watch some movies. A great way to start off my vacation.

All thanks to some "rainy day" bud I saved. It's seriously worth it.
