Dank bud problems!

Whats the deal with dank bud? Is it b/c it hasn't been dried properly after being picked? I could see how bud probably weighs more right after it is cultivated and selling it like this would get the growers/dealers more money right? And i also hear about people adding water to dry bud to make it weigh more. They just pass it as dank bud but a lot of the hits you are taking are probably the water burning. Dank bud almost always never works in joints or blunts(or in grinders for that matter) b/c it clogs up and dosn't pull. After all this crap I don't understand how people say they love dank bud the most? any opinions??? personally I love the mostly dry bud with a tiny bit of 'dankness' b/c really dry bud crumbles apart.

when you get it, if it's still to wet, then dry it out yourself, and cure it in an airtight jar for a week or so......opening the jar approx twice a day to allow the air to circulate........Peace out.....Sid

If i dry the bud out its gonna weigh a lot less then when i paid for it. And you pay for weight, so WTF?

Where I come from, dank means really good. I guess if you're using the "wet" definition, then I would dry it out. I like damp weed the most, but I like it when it's damp from resin, not from some dumbfuck dealer dunking it in water.

yeah i like mine resinous as well, and i'd never add water to any weed that i grew, makes it more prone to mould........Peace out........Sid

I mind b/c if it weighs less then I simply get less hits. Plus when you pay for weight you should be albe to use all the weigh not let it evaporate or whatever. Its all about pretty dry bud, broken up well, and condensed(for a bowl, not joint) IMO.

ok...now i get where you coming from......do you get your dealer to weigh it out on digital scales in front of you?.......if so, ask to feel the bud and if it's wet then ask for more as his weed is not properly dried, or go to a diffrent dealer......or is he the only one you know of?...........Peace out.......Sid

i'm really in no position to ask for more than an oz when thats what im buying ya know? Plus i don't know the actual reasosn for the bud being dank, be it resin or not being properly dried out. I guess I'm just screwed and I'll have to try to find a better dealer or buy less at a time so i dont get stuck with a months worth of weed im not fully satisfied with.

crystals, dank bud means resinous, and that's all. If you're getting bud that has been dampened, then that's called getting jacked.

tough one......to really tell you have to squeeze the whole bud and then rub your fingers together to see if it's resinous, and most dealers won't allow it as it removes some THC crystals as well......and if it is wet, and the dealer your buying from didn't grow it, then he got hoodwinked as well, thinking he bought like 10oz and it's more like 9oz when dried..........Peace out.......Sid

dank isnt wet or not properly dry herb. its slang for GOOD herb. and you can roll a joint or blunt with really moist weed you just have to know how to roll. dont roll your weed all tight.

I'm drying some of it to see if I will enjoy the results more. have to wait and see
