weed cocoon commercial

has anyone seen the anti-drug commercial where this kid keeps going into his room to pick up his weed and then he sits on a chair to make a cocoon out of the weed? by the end of the commercial, he emerges from this cocoon that looks like a giant nug only to realize that he's in his 40s, bald and has a gut.

i just found it funny since the intention is to deter people from smoking weed while the entire time i'm thinking, "wow, that's a giant nug.... it would be so awesome to smoke that."

of course, i was stoned when i saw this commercial.

Yeah, i saw this in the movie theatre before i saw the love guru. As soon as it ended i yelled out boo and a few people laughed and clapped. During the commercial i remarked to my friend that i wish i could be encased in a huge cocoon made of weed, and them proceed to hotbox it as i lit it on fire from the inside. Yes it's by above the influence, and yes it's lame.

It's terrible that Above the Influence is resorting to that as propaganda. What happened to at least warning us about jail or handcuffs? The worst they can think up is that you get in a cocoon and come out a fat bald guy who lives with his mom. Is this worth a national ad campaign? Even objectively - neither for nor against pot - this is definitely grasping at straws. They don't even bother with trying to quote any stats regarding reduced mental performance or some BS. All they're saying is pot is "a waste of time." Just like the commercials where the cartoon dog is disappointed or the kids are melted into the couch. Thanks, mom and dad. You'd think they'd at least radicalize pot and up the stakes a bit.

Legalize it already.

So smoking weed made him bald and fat? Baldness comes no matter what, and fatness comes from bad eating habits?

Regarless of wheter of not he smoked weed he would end up like that.
