making hash question

well i was tripping face and thinking how nice it would be to get some hash when suddenly i realized i can make some!!!! my plan was to get a 90 dollar ounce of some middy ass mids and i have a couple questions......

1) will shitty shitty mids work for making hash?
2) could i run these mids through my grinder so i can get the keif from them and still use them to make hash?
3) which hash making method would be easiest/work best

it'll work, but you'll probably have to grind up a ton of it to get anything worthwhile

i looked at the 6 ways of making hash thread and i plan on useing the iso hash method....now what im wondering is about how many grams of hash will an ounce of weed make???

it depends on quality of the bud and crystal content man,
if you grind it up be sure to throw the kief in as well,
i think youll get a better/instant return if you make BHO

word im using 90 dollar an ounce mids...but im gonna use the whole ounce

yeah, but there is no way for us to ballpark how much product you will end up with.
even if it is mexi-brickweed a zone should make a decent amount few grams maybe

aight word...and how much would a gram of hash go for? cause i might just buy myself some hash instead of going through the trouble of making it

well i made iso with 20g of shake and stems and there was probably 2-3 g of top quality hash and weed in there aswell.. so 17 g shake + 3g dank letting the iso soak for 2 mins gave me 3 grams of some of the stickiest nastiest most dank ass hash i have ever seen

then i added alot of kief to it so it would not stick to everything it touched and i ended up with the softest brown hash i have ever seen, seriously like brown play-doh.

when you touch the lighter to it it bubbles .. i think its cool for a couple times and then the novelty wears off and its just too inefficient, and your better off buying normal hash for regular toking.. but 0.1 g of this lasted about 5 mins in a bowl and got me soooooo damm toasted. so its your choice. good for saving your lungs i guess..

do any of you guys put a small coin in your grinder ? my friend said to put it ontop of the screen, and it will help generate more kief in the bottom.
can anybody confirm this ?

it does, especially if u shake the grinder aswell. and even more so when u put the grinder in the freezer... but it reduces the quality of ur kief, u get plant material and shit in there aswell...

it will knock pore plant matter than kief
