What is the point of a diffuser on a Roor steamroller if there is no water in it?

Blocks more particulate matter (like bigger pieces of ash and what not) without adding much drag.

One of the first percs like this I've ever seen too. I think I need to get one of their regular perc tubes like this!

Hey man I saw that you have an EHLE, how do they compare to ROOR? I was thinkin about ordering one online cause they come diffused and what not, but otherwise I was goin to head down to a local headshop because a friend got an 18" ROOR Beaker(not sure what glass thickness) for $150 and it sounds like I could get a pretty good deal. THanks bro and nice pieces.

EHLE is great quality! I'd suggest an 18mm joint for whichever tube you get.

For $150 it sounds like he got a forest green or red label (3.2mm).

Either will be a good choice. EHLE has quality diffusers for sure. And they now have open ended ones too.

this is directed at Scheize. I see you using that soldering iron all the time, could you give me a little bit of info on what model or what i should look for and what you did to yours. I'v been googling and whatnot but I can't seem to come up with anything.

Oh nice well I think im goin to go with the ROOR from the headshop because I dont feel like spending over $200 for the 5 mm EHLE i was gonna get. 3.2 mm aren't too bad are they? But I was also thinking about buyin a lux mini beaker from some guy on here too but thanks for the info bro ill def post a pic once i get it

They are made by Hakko, you want one with a ceramic heating element. The Dash 454 is good. You can get them online at outpost.com

I've seen those things. Its like a bong with only a tree perc, no main downstem and bowl and stuff, and in the base there's no bottom, so you hold it over hotknifes or whatever and take the hit and it gets bubbled through the water.
