I can't take big hits.....

I can't take big hits...like I said. i've noticed that ever since I cut back on how much I smoke per day (i still smoke everyday) I take much smaller hits. And I feel like I can't take bigger hits... WTF is up with that?!?

Maybe I should stop smoking cigs or something?

dude I don't know man I usually can't take monster hits either, every know and then though I can take a lungful. mostly I don't liek the discomfort involved in taking huge hits.

im not even touching cigs anymore. strictly herb now..

if its the cigs, i dont know but i definately feel like i cant take as big of hits as i used to.

Small hits aren't really a bad thing, but I can understand the complaint.

A lot of times before I hit my bong, I inhale and exhale really deep a few times before I take the hit. It kind of relaxes your lungs and allows a bigger hit.

You have to get used to it, you dont just start out takeing monster hits, sit by yourself so you dont have to worry about anyone watching you and take hits that make you cough up a lung, slowly you will get used to it.
People dont just start out milking a 3 foot roor and clearing it like nothing, i used to just get pissed at myself and say fuck it and milk it then end up coughing like hell but wile being pissed i couldnt do it, slowly i noticed i was takeing much bigger hits then anyone else and wasnt even trying to.
Not sure if your talking about being able to, now all the sudden not, or just not being able to all together, im also not sure why you care about the size of the hit you take, smoke how you feel comfortable, stop trying to impress everyone.

I'd follow Fax's advice- Take 3 or 4 huge breaths before taking a hit; not only does it help to get your lungs stretched out, but you hyperoxengenate (sp?) your blood, allowing you to hold it in longer .

My friends tell me I puff up like a blowfish when I take hits; pretty funny to watch hehe.

I'm not trying to impress anyone.... I just like blowing clouds.... its a bit more effective to take bigger hits than small ones.

I've been smoking for a while.... I used to be able to not only snatch a big lungful but also hold it in a 4 person rotation in a game of "superman".... Ever since I slowed down on my smoking have I noticed this...well, its not a problem... just a curiosity i suppose.

For me it just depends on how my lungs are feeling that day. On a good day, I can rip any bong amazingly; on a bad day I usually have to breath out after milking before clearing a bong.

I also notoce that I get bigger, better hits out of something squeaky clean, like its brand new, and cold water (or crushed ice -depending on the bong) helps
