a few very easy ways to add an ice catcher to your bong

when i say bong, i mean all you homemade bong tokers, ya im one too. i have 2 diff ways for making ice notches or catchers on my homemade water bongs. i dont have a camer tho so you will have to picture it in your head.

First way: Add another bottle

this will only work with bottles like coke or dr pepper that have a small mouthpiece

Ok first you need to take your regular waterbottle bong and have it ready. you will also need one, or two more bottles OF THE SAME BRAND. now take one of your empty bottles and mark off a spot where you will later make a cut all the way around in order to cut the bottom off of the bottle. you want to leave as much of the bottle as how much ice u want to fit, and then add about 2-3 inches so your lips arent touching the ice and make your cut there. now put the mouth peices of your newly cut bottle to the moutpiece of your bong and using whatever method you prefer (appoxy, tape, superglue) seal the two together. i melted them together for the strongest hold. now you have an ice catcher bc the ice will not go through the mouth pieces.

If you dont like the big mouth piece, take your second bottle, cut the bottom off, secure it to the new top of your bong, and u now have a small mouth piece again as well as a zigzag tube for your bong.

Second way: blockers

for this, all u need are some chopsticks, or anything similar to them, a smal knife, and some sealer. simply poke holes in the bottle where u want your knotches, slide your chopsticks through, adding however many you think are needed to hold the ice from falling through. and then use your preferred sealer around the holes.

sorry about no pictures but its pretty straight forward. very easy addition and makes for a much cooler hit.

If you want an icecatcher in your regular bong, just use something that will hold the ice up. Pantyhose, the red netting that oranges come in at the market, whatever. Just tape it or rubber band it over the lip of your bong, put the ice in the bag and let it hang in the tube, and you're set. Kinda lame, but it works as well as ice notches.
