smoking while sick

i posted about bad kotton mouth last night turns out im sick i got a sinus infection i think my throats a little sore. still smoked a morning doobie. Is it ok to smoke while sick????

I smoke while sick usually. Maybe not ballz out as if i was healthy but i'll still get a toke. MJ is medicine yo ::

Oh man. I got hit hard with a REALLY bad head cold this week. Sneezing, dripping, stuffed up nose, headache from blowing nose so much. I cut back like 80% of what I usually smoke, but I know smoking weed irritated it even more. It stuffs my nose up even more and makes it hard to breathe. I thought it would help my headache like it usually does, but with all the other sick factors involved, it's not a very good idea.

The first day, as I felt the cold coming on, the smoke would irritate the back of my throat where the back of your nose meets the back of your throat. It would itch like CRAZY! I would try to constrict the muscles back there or something to "itch" it. It would be worse right after taking a hit.

Then last night, I felt about 50% better than the day before so I took a bit hit and started coughing like crazy, like a newbie hit. That really fucked me up because all last night I was coughing up phlegm every single time I coughed, it seemed like there was no end to it. Up until last night I wasn't coughing at all, it was just sneezing and blowing nose. So I'm not smoking anymore until I feel mostly over this cold.

yeah, smoking while you're sick with any sort of respiratory issue isn't really a good idea, you're just prolonging the sick. Might as well take some time off, worst thing that'll happen is you'll get a little T-break. I'm trying to use my sick as motivation to quit smoking cigarettes. So far so good. I only had 3 yesterday, and beer made me have the last two. I didn't even smoke half of the last one. Hopefully i'm over cigs.

ya if its got any thing to do with your lungs it would only be a good idea to stop smoking or at least not smoke as much

edibles are the best bet but smoking usually helps me feel less sick?
