Butane hash, oh hells yeah

So today I spend the day making butane hash with my friend leslie. Well off of about two ounces of trim we got almost 6 grams of hash. And this stuff is so good I cant believe how easy the process was. One thing I noticed is the weed that was leftover from the process still had visible crystals on it. Perhaps still viable for bubble hash extraction afterwards? Also baking soda/powder is a must you simply can sprinkle it over all the gooey hash and scraping it out is a sinch. Hah enough jibber jabber here's the pictures.

I had the dish already sitting in hot water to maximize evaporation time, also pouring hot water into the pie tin over the evaporation period reducing the entire time from butane to scraping to under ten minutes.


Here is the hash all gooey, from here we just sprinkled it with powder and used a razor blaze to collect it. The baking soda/powder gives it such a more managable state for collecting and rolling.


Here is the final lump, well minus a few bowls we snuck from every extraction throughout the day.


Overall this is my favorite and easiest (imo) method of hash making. Aside from the huge risk of making yourself into an explosive device all you really have to do is inject the butane and scrape everything else is done for you. Also I'd reccomend that if you go by the design in the sticky thread to use three cans per extraction to maximize yield. And dont forget to grind the shit out of that herb and stuff it down good!

This is hash, not crack right..? Haha, I've never heard of people putting baking soda in hash.

I'm making some BHO next week once I find a mids hookup.. Can't waste that dank on extract.

nah its not crack, the soda is just to make it more handleable. seriously without it this shit is like tar and it will stick to everything.

I found the oil easiest to handle immediately as it was ready too. Otherwise you'd have to scrape it really good to get it all

Funny you mention that. I seen my friend engulfed in flames once when he was making that shit. He ended up being okay, only suffering minor burns. But shit, it scared the fuck out of me. I was thinking the whole time he was making it,"I hope he doesn't blow himself up".

hah yeah when i was making it i was waiting for all the fumes to evaporate on her porch so i could go inside. well she was making tortilla soup inside for the impending munchies and had the stove on so id keep reaching for the sliding door and stop to tell myself, "uhh wait a few more minutes you dont need to become one of the fantastic four today"

and the baking powder was an experiment, we hadnt anything else and it seemed an inert substance to improve its manageability. i searched the net this morning and couldnt find anything saying its any more harmful than the superheated gas that im inhaling off the hash. yes you merely sprinkle it on there and shake off excess as your storing the hash so its not cut with it or anything
