I have always wondered about this. When you have to make a bong do you use shiney side up with the tin foil or dull side up?

There where times where I sat for like 15 minutes debating whitch side I should use.

simple solution, dont use tinfoil.

sounds like ur usin nonstick tinfoil which has a chemical sprayed onto it to keep shit from stickin to it. get regular foil if u must use it.

foil isn't as bad as people will tell you, unless you use it every time you smoke or something. if you're desperate there's nothing wrong with using foil but I would go buy yourself a piece lol.

FOIL WONT DO A DAMN THING TO YOU, if you are smart about how you use it!

all foil has one side thats shinier than the other, it happens in proccessing, its just alluminum oxide, burn it off with a lighter and your good....

the only thing to keep away from foil is torch lighters, dont use nothin but a bic and your ok!

ya butane can not melt aluminum so it cant hurt you

butane can and will melt aluminum. take a strip and a flame to it. it can not vaporize it, i think thats the word ur lookin for.
