can i just clean my glass pipe by rinsing it in water?

i dont want to go through all that boiling stuff and i dont have any pipe cleaners or anything. can i just run my glass piece under a sink and rinse it? or will that ruin it somehow?

Water won't clean it. Alcohol and salt will though. Pour salt in, then alcohol, cover all of the holes and shake the shit out of it.

yeah boiling water is a pain in the ass anyway. just rub it around in a box of coarse sand

I'll never boil a glass pipe. One of my friends always borrows my pipes and his girlfriend will call me and tell on him for boiling my pipes. It never fails...he always cracks the bowl and ends up having to either get me a new pipe or give me a fat sack. It's like this game we play...it has to be a game or otherwise he'd go and buy his own pipes. Anyway, I don't agree with the boiling method and the salt and alcohol has always worked well for me.

He likes for them to be super clean when he smokes out of them. Plus, he does whatever he thinks will get me all feisty and worked up. He's like my best friend so it isn't that much of a big deal...especially since he always makes it right with me.

hot water works fine.........i do it all the time, hot tap water and a paper clip[ for 5 minutes will make it all dissapear right down that drain, just don't let it slipp out of your hands.......slippery lil glass bastards.

anyone have any tips on cleaning the actual bowl...
i have one with a rush hole and shit, and theirs like a glass covering over it so so i cant just clean it like some other pipes

put a fucking washclotrh at the bottom of teh pot you are using to bowl the bowl in and it wont crack or anything

using hot tap water and tongs to hold it under the water works good as well but make sure all the water evaporates so it doenst turn into steam and fuck you up man happy stoning

ok, i found a cool bowl. i found out crack had been smoked out of it. It was full of weed resin, but at the same time i didn't want to get herpes or some shit. So i boiled it, i boiled it for a good hour and a half and there was still some resin stuck to the pipe. The pipe was fine, it was very thin glass. As long as you dont bring the hot pipe into cold temps your fine with boiling it.

Ok, but if you look at the CCG pipes in the shop, you can see the hole in the bowl in someof them. i dont have a camera so i cant show you. anyway, its a bitchto scrap shit out from under there, anyone have any tips besides boiling? ive tryed alcohol and salt
