| I'm a LESBIAN.. not a man | How-to: cut metal for homemades out of soda cans....lots of pics I was reading in another post about using sheet metal (aka cut up a soda can) to make bowls for homamade bongs. I thought I would try new design for me and instead of keeping it top secret until its perfect and on a bong like usual I figured I would share with the class! Disclaimer: I am not liable for you cutting off a finger, hand, toe, ear, eye, or anything else. I am warning you that sheet metal is dangerous. It is very thin and very sharp and even though you see no gloves on me in the pics I would recommend gardening gloves or something else like that to protect yourself from amputation[/COLOR]. Start with a can.<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0169.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> I find it easiest to cut down the side with a boxcutter, like so....<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0170.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> Then cut off one end and then the other. Small scissors work slower here, but safer. But if you have some of those scissors that can cut every-fuckin-thing then use those, but then you gotta watch out for those too cause you know they can get a finger off of you..... anyway.....<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0172.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> And you're left with a curled-up sheet of metal that is sharp enough to cut someones head off (not that I suggest that). Note the jagged edges: <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0174.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> Don't forget to save these two parts. If you ever make a big bowl that needs a big screen that bottom part would work well and be easy to drill holes in.<a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0175.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> The sheet can be a lot easier to handle if you roll it up like this. Safer too. <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0178.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0179.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> I cut four slits by first cutting it in half and then in half again....well, you get my meaning. This was for the size I needed, this design is good for any size. Make whatever you need. Cut out the square that you wanna use. <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0180.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0181.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> Fold your sheet in half diagonally, then open it and fold it in hakf the other way. Open this. You should end up with creases. Make sure they go all the way to a point. <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0183.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0185.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0186.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0187.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0188.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> Bong break!! <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0191.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0192.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> Now, we have to have a hole or holes in the bowl.... I suggest grabbing a fingernail clipper. <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0193.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> And carefully clip little slits into the edges and one on the bottom. For the bottom I used scissors. <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0194.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0196.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> You may need to clip the ends if you wanna stick it in a socket or something. Thats a little more work. I cut the "wings" off and folded them over and shut with a set of needlenose pliers. <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0201.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0200.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0199.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> <a href="http://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa64/GimmieMore/100_0202.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a> ENJOY!

shit man, all u have to do is cut a 3inchx3inch square out and roll it into a cone, then jamm the end into something. it will stay in that form and the end of it being in a pen or w/e would hold it together tight. its pretty easy. i then grabbed some screen for it, but i got sick of that and decided to use a socket that i placed into the cone.
