smoking and usage

hello,

i am looking to buy a gift for a very good friend of mine. he is not an everyday toker. he only tokes when he goes to the clubs. that said, i want to find him the perfect pipe that will let him toke easiest and safest and the most discreetly (i've heard that these pipes eliminate the smoke from billowing out so the smell is not as detectable?). and of course to get the most potent and highest amount of hits!! =)

i was looking at the BUD BOMB, AGENT BLUE, A'MAZE'D, ZEPP, BUL-IT, the TASK PIPE and the STREET DADDY. i think i'm leaning most towards the bud bomb (vs the agent blue)because the mouthpiece is removable. i'm not too fond of the moutpiece of the agent blue being held to the rest of the piece by a rubber o ring. also, i figure the bud bomb is longer than the agent blue so more cooling time and thus a cleaner toke. then again i'm inexperienced as well.

also i'm trying to figure out which one of the 6 mentioned pipes delivers the CLEANEST toke (i guess the healthiest or safest toke if that makes any sense).

oh i also looked at the PROTO PIPE DELUXE and the PFWOOT Inflatable Bong, but I wasn't sure if these would work as well in the club scene.

anyone with more info to contribute to helping me make a decision? perhaps someone which has personal experience with any of these six pipes? a nice detailed review would be higghhhhllyyy appreciated =).

i would go with the pfwoot, but thats only because ive used it be4 and its cool as shit. it only takes like 10 seconds to inflate and it works great

lol@pwooft... hittin a bong in the club... tell ya boy to roll a blunt, more descrete than a pipe, especillly in a club... cuz hey as far as i know, that guy over there is smokin a black and mild -wink wink-

they're all well good, basically... a mate of mine has all of them, and a rokit pipe... nutter

they're wicked presents, cos they come with all the official documentation, box set etc

...but little metal pipes can feel like flick-knives, so they may check it out if they search you going into a club... be warned!

do the a'maze'd, agent blue, and bud bomb need smoke screens?

how good are they at filtering compared to a bong?

no pipe filters as well as a bong. The bong filters through water and pipes just suck the air along. some pipes have systems to make the smoke take longer to get to you and that cools the smoke down making an easier hit but it's no cleaner.

go woth the protopipe

i've had mine for a long time and love it. its like a trip into the 60's. classic design with a swinging lid to snuff out the smoke. even has its own stashpod!

hello, just a few questions about the protopipe:

- how hot does it get when you're toking (since it is a metal pipe)

- how cool is the smoke when you're toking?

- how much can you stash in the stash box? (a rough estimate... in grams or # of hits maybe?)

- is it small enough to get into a club?

- doesnt get hot

- relativly cool compard to other handpipes

- about 4 bowls worth (it has a HUGE bowl)

i've heard that metal pipes should be avoided because when you're heating up the bowl, not only are you burning the shit that you're smoking but also heating up the metal, which releases toxins as its heated.

i wonder about brass especially, since it seems to discolor and get funky over extended periods of use.

any inputs?? thanks!

protopipes are actually well quality... but you can get cheap imitations which aren't - you do actually have to pay out if you want the good 'un...
