making blender hash

I wasn't sure where to post this.

Ok so, I've never made hash before and so I'm going to use this simple method the first time.

My only question is how dry should the plant material be that I start with?
for example. If I pull up a plant and hang it upside down, about how many days should I leave it for in a well ventilated environment with approx 45- to 55% humidity.

Hello out there! Oh so is the plant actually supposed to be more or less cured? I thought a few days of drying would be ok if it's to be used for making hash with.

i'm not sure where else to find this info. I don't know anyone that makes hash. they just throw away all the plant material other then the buds.
