First experience with DXM...

I recently tried DXM this past weekend. It was an incredibly intense experience for me. I am a lightweight and a little of any substance has a large effect- more than what most get.Most of the experience took place in a social environment with tons of external stimuli - i.e. lots of flashing lights, sounds, darkness, ect (this environment might have added to the overall experience).I took around 3/4 of a 4 oz bottle which is suppost to be within the first plateau...or so i thought. After taking this dose i drove to a strip club with some friends and the drive took about 30 minutes. As soon as i got out of the car i could tell something was immediately different. I felt a slight high and drunken feeling, but my emotional standpoint became very different. As i entered the club there was this huge wooden indian statue thing standing there and it had a very intense impact on me. I didnt know if he was real or not...i thought he was one of my friends at first and then i began to talk to him. At this point my emotions were very altered and i still had the high drunk feeling. Once we were into the club i began to feel extremely drunk and high. After about 2 hours after taking the dose i could barely stand up and walk.I had to ask my friend to go with me outside so i could call my g/f. I felt like my body weighed nothing and my arms easily floated up in the air. I had a hard time focusing on someone and i couldnt see straight. Music sounded awesome and when i closed my eyes i could see varying patterns of colors and waves (most likely due to the neons and strobe lights combined with the dark room). Soon the experience became a little overwhelming for me and i lost touch with everything. It was neither unpleasent or pleasant - i just sat there and enjoyed...it was euphoric- i had no cares or worries. For the most part i would describe it as being drunk and high at the same time....but the emotional and detatched aspect of it made it seem like a trip. I have been pretty new to drugs and have mainly stuck to MJ - this was definetly on a new level..i liked it a lot and i want to experiment with some different doses. Does anyone know whether this was a first or second plateau? I have been trying to figure this out - idk why such a small dose would have effected me so much.

I just wanted to add a few things that i left out. Before taking DXM i did a lot of research and read a good portion of william white's DXM FAQ. It was very informative and gave me a good idea what to expect. Erowid also helped with correct dosage and brand. I used Robitussin MAX strength - with dxm being the only active ingredient. Earlier i had planned my dosage out to 47ml - which would put me at about 2.5mg/kg - around the threshold of a good second plateau. The time came and i didnt measure it out which was stupid on my part....to give you a better idea of the dosage, i took 4 cupfulls of the little cup on top of the bottle. I thought this was way under 47ml...which i still think it is. Anyways, i will most likely dose around the same next time. By the way- sorry i posted about this, i know DXM has been beaten to death on this forum.
