Certain weed doesnt work with joints?

I recently got some Kush that was very very fresh and sticky. When rolled up into a joint it wouldnt draw any smoke through. It was like a block and ud burst a lung trying to get anything. I tryed rolling them a bit looser and still nothing. Is this normal with some dank?

ive had that problem with kush b4. Its why i try to stay away from kush joints unless its a lil dry, stick to blunts for kush.

I have smoked weed like that where it doesnt work in a J. it still has too much moisture in the plant. a blunt though, does the job.

to be honest guys, any weed is good in joints. the weed capitol of the world, AMSTERDAM, everyone there rolls fattys left and right. they have some of the best bud around and ive seen some fattys rolled there that r as long as my forearm... uh, get a grinder and some nice papers and roll it, it will work i tell u!

leave your bud under light for 3 hours at most w/ a lamp, make the bud dryer, cause its too moist dank for a joint, had the same problem with this really nice, but moist headies, just dry it out that should help.

It's not Kush per say, just really really sticky bud. Though I have the same problem with really really dry bud, cause that shit won't form and it BURN'S your throat as you draw the the smoke.

it's too sticky for j's, or even blunts. I'd just smoke it in a bowl if i where you.

some weed is to sticky for joints. in europe they roll a little tobacco with it so it isnt as moist. using a grinder would help alot probably, but i dont like grinding up dank, it turns really powdery and makes it burn too fast. the best thing to do is loosely break up the weed and pack bowls

yeh just leave it open in a warm place for a few hours until it drys out, then rolll up your mahoosivve joints

Man i had that problem last night. I re-rolled it a little loose and worked just fine.

I wouldn't put bud under a light for any long periods, it speeds up the thc decomposition. Leaving the bag open and letting it get a bit more crisp will work, but I think that with proper technique, as others have said, any bud will work in a joint. I hate adding tobacco, I don't think its neccesary.
