hey guys. i live in socal and i was wondering if anyone knows where i can pick up one of those roor active carbon filters. the only smoke shop i know that would possibly have it was dementia but when i called in, they didnt know what it was and they said that if i found it on the internet that they would probably not even carry it. any suggestions on where to pick on of thes guys up? who knows...maybe dementia does carry them but they just didnt know...

Why on earth would you get a carbon filter? Filters take out so much THC. I've read a couple of studies on them and they're just terrible at what they do. They take out most THC than they do tars so you have to inhale more of the bad stuff to reach the same level of high with them which completely defeats the purpose.

yeah i am under the impression that it's a waste of money, even if it does help a little. Shit even having more water in the bong than you need is a waste.

Start at Balboa and Ventura and travel east on Ventura. There are like 4 headshops on Ventura. The streets are in the valley.

are they really not worth it? i've heard nothing but good things about them and how they were better than ashcatchers. i've read that a number of people foudn their hits to be a lot smoother and that the high was just the same. argh...i guess i'll just have to give it a shot and find out for myself. anyone else have any personal experience with this carbon filter vs no carbon filter? thanks

THC is a very sticky molecule and carbon filters pull lots of it out. Google waterpipe and vaporizer study and you'll see they're UNHEALTHIER than not using one. You're an idiot if you put one in.
