Can marijuana alleviate cold and flu symptoms?

Just wondering as I'm not sure if I should toke tonight. I feel like shit right now and this Tylenol is not working. My friends have told me if you smoke weed while sick you won't feel sick but you still won't feel as high as you would under normal conditions...

rumors? what are your own experiences? I don’t want to waste my herb if I’m not going to get high or feel any better than I am now.

medical marijuana is supposed to ease joints and muscles and such right? this cold is making me feel weak too...

if you're in pain or nauseous weed helps. i thought this was a myth but when i got my wisdom teeth out i was in so much pain that i would try anything and it so helped! it like not only takes aways the pain but it mkes you forget the pain, when u take tylenol you know it's gonna hurt again soon but this helps you forget. also a similar situation when i got mono, i stayed home for a month puking my brains out, then one day i thought fuck it im getting stonned and i wasnt sick anymore! this is some sorta miracle drug!

yes.

i was feeling pretty shitty the other night, i honestly thought i was going to vomit and spent a good hour just sitting in the bathroom waiting for it. and then i remembered that i had a couple of nugs left, and no one was home, so i debated whether or not to smoke them. i figured it probably wouldn't be too smart, but i did it anyway, and felt SO MUCH better. if you really feel ill, do it. you'll be glad you did.

come to think of it, since i smoked marijuana i haven't been getting headaches. i used to get them all the time.

i get a lot of headaches and smokin the green helps. but sometimes it can bring one on too. i smoke it anyways. lol.

I think that it helps. I have alergies, and whenever I smoke I always seem to feel better. It takes my mind off of how bad I feel.

when me and my friends get a cold, we've realized it takes longer to get better...but thats when you smoke on a daily basis.

smoking bud is pretty bad for your immune system.. guys, dont treat it like its some miracle cure for everything, because its not.. whenever i blaze when i have a cold, i feel better for a couple hours, but then stay sick for like 3 weeks.. most of the time it only takes me a couple days to get over

i've had the fucking opposite! I lit up a couple bowls and I started feeling terrible...WHY! I felt like I was going to throw up...I just sat down on the floor and stared at the floor. THE worst session I've ever had. Does anybody know why this happened and what I can do to prevent it???

no way! it was super morrocan hash: the best hash you can get in my opinion. I think it was because I was kinda stressed out and plus I smoked six bowls an hour before........
