Special Brownies not so special

my friend and I made some special brownies, and it failed.

we used a double boiler, water in bottom and one stick (1/2 cup) of butter in the top and let it melt down. Then we added 5 or 7 grams of mids, it wasn't ground to a pouder though, it was broken and chopped up into shaef or so. So we added that directly to the melted butter and let it sit for 45 minutes still over the boiling water and stirring regularly and with no top on the pot of butter-marijuana mix pot, if that matters.

So we added that to the brownie mix which had the eggs water and cannabutter as the oil. Mixed it up put it in the oven till finished. Then my friend and I ate 2 good sized brownies & 2 hrs later, nothing. So we ate 1 more each big sized and 45 min later, nothing.

wtf happened? what did I do wrong?

How many brownies did the entire mix make?

I think you didnt make them strong enough. Let's say you make a batch of 5x5 brownies.

25 brownies.
7 grams in them.
3.5g for each of you.
12.5 brownies for each of you.
3.5/12.5= .28

Each brownie has 1/4 gram in it.

3 Brownies is only 3/4 a gram, not nearly enough to get you high.

Dude, me and my friend that basic EXACT situation. I had some good bud that i hoped would get me through summer the summer (a lot, so much so that it in fact did get me through summer). So, I sacrificed a lot of bud to make brownies, because my friend A) doesn't smoke, but B) wants to get high. So, I made the brownied. We got it so that all the mix fit very well inside a large pie tin, so we basically made brownie pie. Did the same thing - double boiler, definitely hot enough to melt butter and boil the water. Shouldn't that be how I make cannabutter?

I then strained the bud out and basically did the same thing - used the cannabutter for the oil in the recipe. We ate like 3 LARGE pie sizes (most of the pie), and nothing - NOTHING happened. What gives? It's been over a year and my friend hasn't gotten to get high. What should I do, besides firecrackers, to make cannabutter?

i think you have to stir it for like at least 3 hours and go with what alpha said

If you're using mids you should probably be using a lot more than just a quad of mids if you want to be getting high..

Me and my friends cooked the weed directly into the oil, but we also used a half o. Worked like a charm though

My friends and I made a batch of brownies using vegetable oil today. We used around 24g's of low mids, and made about 9 huge brownies in total. We're gonna eat 2 each in a few hours, i'll post a review on this thread sometime tonight or tomorrow.

it works... really well. And if you put in extra chocolate... like a lotta chocolate chips or choco syrup (whatever you like) then it kinda covers the weed taste

cook the weed with vegetable oil and then strain the weed over a bowl and let the fatty thc oil drip and then pour the oil into your brownie mix. dur.
