When you smoke out of a bong the smoke goes through the water and eventually the water will get dark yellow-brownish nasty looking right? But there is THC in the water. So I was just wondering how many of you bong smokers drink your bong water? Its nasty but it'll get you stoned.

you moron! if you did it all you did is drink bad tasting water and probably got sick! The water does not contain ANY THC because THC is only soluble in to things: in alchool and i think in fat.

no THC at all, only carcinogens..... you dont drink it when the water is there in the first place to filter out all that shit

This suggests that water filtration is actually counterproductive, apparently because water tends to absorb THC more readily than noxious tars. Like the waterpipes, the cigarette filter also performed worse than the unfiltered joint, by about 30%. Researchers speculate this is because cannabinoids are exceptionally sticky and adhere to other solids. Hence, any filtration system that picks up particulates is likely also to screen out cannabinoids.
