Question vaporizers?
I've just been reading about vaporizers online as a way to help limit the harm of carcinogens, etc, and im wondering if it is really worth $60... Anyone out there have one or know anything about them? Reccomendations on where to buy? Any info is appreciated, thanx!

dunno where you can buy one for 60 bux man...I cant even buy a decent glass bong for that

I have had mine for about 2 weeks now. LOVE IT. I do not know about the other brands, but mine is a Vaporbrothers. When you set the temperture just right, about half way. All you get is a fine mist and a slightly sweet taste. You can hold it longer because there is no smoke in your lungs. Use about half of what you would use in a joint because none of the thc is wasted or goes up in smoke. Much more heathy for you. Unforunately Vaporbrothers can be expense. Around $185 unless you can find one on Ebay or Amazon. I smoked for 30 years and I have never had anything better. If you can afford it--go with the best--you will not regret it. Maybe someone else can advise you on another brand. Happy toking.

Mine is a cheap $30 one that came from a local headshop. They are definately neat, but it seems like im the only person who doesnt get as high off them. People also say they are more of a mind high then body, and maybe thats why it doesnt seem like im as high. If you have the money to invest, I would go for vaporbrothers probably though. I think I will eventually get one of those (if i figure out why im not getting as high from them).

Its really weird that i dont seem to get as high. Even my friend tried mine for the first time and got really high and loved it. I am the only person ive heard of that doesnt seem to do so. sooo weird. I sitll use it sometimes because I can in my room and easily cover it up. It gives me a weird headrush and then im only high for a short while. whats wrong with me!?!

im in the process of makin a vaporizer using a soldering iron..i'll see if it works soon..anyone else ever done this?

Heard of from people at city, didnt do myself though. Though I am pretty sure thats just what my cheap one is. Solderingiron with little bowl on top. No temp control =(

It does seem to be a little different high. More mind than body. It does not seem as intense, however it seems to last longer. To be honest I have been working up to smoking as much in it as I would a joint. As of now I am smoking about half. Will probably increase it some this weekend. It does feel like it gets into my system faster, and now the wife smokes some with me. The smoke from the joint use to bother her.

i was intrested in the theroy when i heard about them, so i started by making one, i got pics of it, it is oversized, a 1 gal dome, and a soldering iron but after i tried vap bros i gave my homemade jobber away, and shelled out the $150 for a v.b. best move ive made in a while. a yahoo search for "carps vaporizer" brings up the site that shows the design for what i built.

my best friend and tokin buddy has a vap, its great, i love it, the high does seem to last longer, and it is a very different high..

i HIGHly reccomend a vap.

thanx for the advice, after looking up just about every vaporizer on the net i decided on the vaportech, it was $140- not too bad. ill let you all know how it works out when i get it- cant wait! til them, ill make due with the bong.
