Thumbs up easy indoor grow, w/ not a lot of smell. Help.

Hey guys,

Been a member here for a while, and learned a great deal on the board, but I'm still a beginner when it comes to cultivating my own. Just moved to FL with my girl, and was wondering about an indoor grow, and plants that could produce a good yield, with low smell. Thought about lowrider, cronic, .... but again, I'm a newbiw when it comes to growing, but really trying to learn. Feel free to post any advice guys, it's more than appreciated. We live in a condo, and smell is of utmost concern. We have a sunroom with windows all around and a glass roof on top. Basically, it looks like a mini indoor growroom. It's totallyt lit up from floor to dealing all day long, and we have a very light set of blinds that let lots of light through, and still keep our privacy ideal. I really want to use this space,... any suggestions fellas? I haven't toked up in months since moving out here, and I'm going nuts. (laughs) My two greatest loves in life are bodybuilding, and toking up. A nice blunt after a hard day of work and the gym was like heaven, and seemingly like a very distant memory. Arnold Schwartzenegger was right. Watch pumping iron you will understand. Numero UNO smoking weed. Comments appreciated.

Thanks guys,

MG

Hey man. Seems like smell is your greatest issue. If you have the hiding space for it and the ability to keep things cool down there in florida, smell is easily handled. Our biggest problem was adequate ventilation and keeping our growroom within acceptable temperatures. Pain in the ass when you're using the attic.

Anyways, I've never built anything myself but I've read through all sorts of clever smell masking systems. An activated charcoal filter would be the best to remove odors and neutralize the air but don't those remove CO2 as well? I dunno about that but if you ran that on your exhaust, if you had an exhaust the rest of the room would be in a negative pressure which is good. Instead of blowing your smell through all those little cracks in construction, you're actually pulling air through them, containing the smell within the grow room and as it's exhausted, the odor will be neutralized.

Those are expensive. I've also read a few posts around here using those water absorbing crystals that smell like fruit or whatever they're scented ass. Place that in a 5 gallon bucket with holes on the bottom and a cyclone fan from walmart to suck the air up through the hole and through your water/crystal mixture. There's an entire post around here somewhere that deals with it.
Search the forum for odor.
