Macro of some Trainwreck

Well here is half of the pick up i just got, an eighth half of which is trainwreck and the other half is orange crush. the camera battery died before i got a chance to take a picture of it all or get the macros of the orange crush. But they both taste delicious and smell wonderful.

Here are the macro shots of the trainwreck, hope you like.

Looks like a hair to me. The kind from your head, not the bud.

Could be a THC worm... lol.

Hey! Nice Upclose Macros

What camera did you use for these shots? Did you use a Macro Lens on these shots?
I just bought a new camera for macro shots, but am wondering if I should buy a Macro lens to go with it.

I just bought a new Digi last night, 5.1 Megapixel Fugi - FujiFilm FinePix S5200 Digital Camera-10X Zoom - 541243721 - Equipped with 5.1 MegaPixels, a 10x optical zoom and proprietary technology that suppresses camera shake and b...

for 269.99

Think I will be able to get shots like this with my new camera?

Thanks!

J

I'm using a Nikon D50 with a homemade Pringles can Macro lens. The pringles can is lens is easy to make as long as you have a camera that has a removable lens. Its just the pringles can with a 70$ lens in the front and a whole in the back that attaches to the camera body. I think its performance is comparable to much more expensive macro lenses, but it is a bitch to focus as you can probably see from the pics.

I used this guys. He is pretty cool, he answered some questions that i had pretty quick which is amazing for some one on the internet.

It was really easy to make too, i used some primer from my warhammer 40K days to spray the inside of my tube black instead of paper or what he used.

If you are planning on making this, I recommend talking to your local camera shop (i dont know about a big retail store) because they are usually full of camera fanatics that will be willing to help. Also tell them its for a school project, they took 10 dollars off of the price of the lens.

Do it, its fun to make and it turns out really nice. I love using it. I wish everything was as fun to look at up close as cannabis is.

that bud looks amazing. i read somewhere that trichomes that are sideways like that means that the bud was harvested a little later than normal.
