how do i roll a good joint?

i've been rolling for a while, but i can't get my joints to look good like the ones in the picture. and i really can't "roll" the joint, the paper gets all liek fucked up when i start rolling, and its good papers too, skunk brand. and the paper ends up getting too wide for the roach and everything doesnt work. if any one could give me some tips and advice on joint rolling that would be great. thanks peace

practice and then..... try to roll the edges of the papaer in quicker then the rest making sure the ends don't get all weird...... best way to learn is to keep doing it......

yeah homie i made a post bout this just like yesterday i think , took me bout half a yr to a yr before i was rollin joints that looked identical to cigs. Just like anything it takes practice , i would just watch my homies roll and asked them to help me out thats how i really learned.

i think the biggest mistake everyone makes when rolling joints is that they roll the paper before rolling the weed. put the weed in the paper then place your thumbs in the middle and start to roll it so that the marijuana is in the form of a joint. your just rolling the marijuana back-and-forth. then when you get the weed a good form you just roll up the paper around it.

ill give you all a suggestion if you have an older sibling that smoke tabaco.... when they smoke take a ciggaret that they have only smoked half way and put it in a ash tray...
take the rest of the tabaco out and fill it with weed. if you dont have an older sibling that smoke ciggarets than just buy some fucking zig-zags the people dont even ask you how old you are or what you need it for. stop with all the printer papper and doller bills and all that stupid stuff cuz itl kill you.. lol

make sure you have enough weed to roll an entire joint - you can't roll small joints, you roll a joint, or a big joint - its as simple as that


go to youtube and search for how to roll a joint videos and shit, just watch how they move their fingers, etc.


just keep practice rolling - you'll waste some papers, but practice using rolling tobacco or tobacco out of cigarettes just to get the hang out it without using your precious greens


if you don't have long nails, sometimes i find it hard to tuck the paper over the substance in the middle being rolled, so i'll use a credit card to tuck it and then finish rolling by hand



but just practice what you're doing, rolling is a process that you don't just "have" - you need to learn it, and it almost becomes an art form if you value your smoking

I agree. I smoke tobacco, and I roll my own (way cheaper). I get a lot of practice.

You kinda just once you get it in the paper, you have to shape it using the paper into the cylindrical shape. once you get it into the shape, "roll" the paper down so most of the paper is on the BACK of the joint, and there's just a little in front, then you tuck the front part around the back of the weed (make sure you get the corners) then just try to keep it as tight as possible. You'll know when you're being too rough, the paper will rip but it's ok you have the whole pack (right?)

i would start using the wider papers like JOB 1.5's and JOB extra wides. Its alot easier to manipulate the paper and its easier to make it tighter. once you figure out the wides move to smaller papers

make sure your weed is ground up real good. makes a world of a difference between an easy roll and a frustrating one.
