Who uses glass screens/gauzes with their pieces?

Supposed to be better than metal screen as they dont clog, look nicer, and have no taste. They seem pretty cool, I am going to order a 10 pack when I order my bubbler.

Does anyone use these? How are they? Do you have a problem with them staying in when you blow the ash out?

They work really well, I've used one for both my spoon and my bong. Very handy, simply because I love to grind me weed up pretty fine.

They work pretty well. I had one for my sherlock for a while... but the damn thing would keep falling out everytime that I would empty the bowl... so I found them not very pratical for me.

IMO, they're kind of a pain if you're going to be having any kind of sesh. one or 2 bowls, it'll be ok. They get impractical when they turn into a ball of resin and ash.

i love my daisy glass screens i wanna get some jack screens and see how those work

ive never had them get rezzed up too bad, but in the words of cyprus hill

I just use metal screens. I mean they stay in fine and grinded up weed isn't a problem. It does get clean but they are pretty cheap and if you don't have any new ones use a needle to poke out the holes of resin if your in a bind.

glass screen is also cheap you can get them on ebay for less than a dollar..i think thats as much as normal large metal screens cost at head shops

i like glass screen better--both types turn nasty if you dont clean them..but metal screen takes like poo n gets nastier quicker i think

Glass screens are much better then metal , on taste alone ... I have a RooR bong which is all glass so why ruin it with a metal screen? I have a RooR gauze in my bowl and my carbon filter .. If they get covered in resin then throw it in some rubbing alochol and wipe it clean.

I just use pebbles.

Beats paying $2 every time I accidentally cash one out a window or something.


Now don't get me wrong, I'm all about quality....but there is 0 difference, IMO, between hitting a piece with a glass gauze and a rock....except the price.

Hmm, I have never tried a glass screen like that, but i find its funny how they say

i have used them for awhile with my bong and my pipe cause the hole is pretty big . they work great when you are emptying into an ash tray cause you usually forget you have it in. there are way better then metal screens though. i suggest them

i use one in my small sherlock pipe...

i love the thing..ive dropped it once or twice and couldnt find it at the moment and i felt like my pipe was useless without it...i HATE sucking all the shit in thru the hole....call me a pussy but i need a glass screen almost always...every once and a while i pop it out and clean it off to get optimum air pullage, but it takes a few smokes before it gets constricting...it also gets stuck in the hole nicley after about one smoke so u wont lose it too easily...ive had the same one since i got my pipe like back in november...lie i said, ive dropped it in my carpet and under my desk, so pick up a few...theyre cheap anyway

I've got one in my pipe. It fell out a few times but now that its resinated in its basically part of the pipe, I probably couldn't get it out if I tried.

It does clog sometimes but its a really easy fix as long as you have a pin or safety clip around.
