they piss me off for some reason. you know the one. the one who smokes a shitload of weed and gets drunk off of their ass. there was a guy at my work, every friday he'd be like "I'm going to get so fucked up tonight.". talking about getting piss drunk and what not.

in my eyes, this is not how it's supposed to be.

i think the rastafarians do it right. they do not get fucked up. they get lightly baked. this is what i do. this is what is right, to me.

so are you one of those people who gets fucked up, or do you enjoy a nice stable high that you renew by taking more hits?

Yeah man i deffinatly hear you i hate when people say "I cant wait to get fucked up tonight" it pisses me off as well. I dont say that so im going to go with the nice stable high.

Unless you're using your marijuana for something other than recreation - I.E. Spiritual Ceremonies and etc. - I don't think you're in a place to be mad at others for using it for recreation as well.

Me, I like to get fucked up. You like to catch a buzz. That's cool. Don't run around flaming others for using the same substance for the same reasons you do.

On most days I just smoke a blunt or few and am happy with being blazed. But come Thursday night my weekend has started and I want to smoke some and take a few shots.

When I drink, I almost always drink to get drunk. I don't like the taste of any alcohol, so if I'm going to drink it then I'm going to get drunk.

it all depends on the situation i think. If im just hitting a bowl before i go out than i just go for the mello high. But if its a friday night and i have had a long day why not get high as hell and listen to some music?

i'm renting a cabin with some people and was psyched to get a ton a feed and maybe some shrooms and shit. but then 2 of my friends broke it down that we were 'just getting drunk' they are buying like 4 cases of beer and gallons of liquor. their goal is to get so trashed they don't even remember the stuff they do.

whats the point. i said fuck it, me and a female thats going got a 1/4 and we aren't drinking, rather we will be enjoying nature.

Frat guys are very annoying ><, and people like that in general. Whoever said "To each their own" that is very true, but this kind of life style is just totally abusive. (So is smoking weed all the time, I've done it before, and it's definitely not the way marijuana was intended)

its fine that you like to get buzzed and just chill, but you dont need to hate on people (like me) who like to get completely blitzed and chill and have fun... im at a point in my life right now were i can be comfortable anywere i need to be completely baked, so i dont worry, ive learned to control my high......

I know right, just cuz you guys cant handle it doesnt mean other people cant, I get what your saying about some people taking it a little over the top, but I love looking foward to fridays getting drunk and smoking a lot of pot, even if that means I sacrifice knowing what happened at all.

Depends on the environment and the person.

If Im at a party, I'll take a few hits and stay reasonably coherent. At least so Im not laughing at furniture and shit. If Im home alone late at night, Im getting fucked up and watching Ren and Stimpy.

Same for drinking or any other drug.
