Vaporbrothers temp setting

I am expecting the arrival of my Vaporbrothers vaporizer in the next 3 or 4 days. Is there a tempature setting on it in degrees. If so, what do I set it on. If not, how do I know where to set it to? If I can get the right setting I can mark it on the box so as not to over heat the weed. Anyone out there have advise on the proper setting? Also, do I use as much in it as I would usually smoke in my joint or a little less? Any advise from those who are experenced in using this brand vaporizer will be helpful. I have never seen a vaporizer before, much less used one. Thanks.

Theres a little slot on the dial marking your "reference point"- 1st turn it all the way up for 5 min or so till it glows orange. Then turn it down to 12:00(straight up & down)and wait 30 sec. or so.- then draw evenly, slower for a stronger dose, faster for a weaker one. I keep mine at 1:00 or so, suits me fine.The instruction sheet fills you in real good. You bought one of the 10 best inventions ever, thats for sure.

I give my vaped pot to my friend, hes a light smoker & says it does the trick for him-we recycle. High quality herb will tend to have resin glands stick to the glass as in the picture, but it vapes away after a while. This is some sweettooth#3 in this pic, sticky,grapefruity. Don't know what it smokes like,but I'm not about to find out.
