Wow I'm really glad to see so many people enjoying this old thread, and I appreciate all the comments.

syntax13: Thats a very clever idea. I wish I had something to shake the jar for me. The main cruddy thing about my method is the fact that your arms get pretty tired after 4 or 5 minutes of shakin, and I usually like to go for 10.

anyone know if this fucks up the screen of the grinder? i dont want to have holes in my screen or something like that afterwards and not be able to use my grinder anymore

Didn't do anything to my screen. Grinder still works perfectly.
