getting sick after smoking

hi quick question... today me and my friends smoked but one of my friends got sick afterwards. none of us other than him got sick. he started to throw up but he didn't throw up food or water... it looked kinda like mucus mixed w/ brownish substance... i know thsi isn't normal but does anyone have a reason for why this might happen and what it means? is it severe? he seemed wicked tired afterwarsd but said he felt better after some fresh air. hes smoked before so i dont see why it would affect him (he never got sick before). thanks dudes peace

sounds like he got the greenies. it happened to me once after i took several big ass hits without coughing. burned the shit out of my throat.

unfortunately right now i have bronchitis

i smoke a bowl a day even though it hurts to, but gettin high helps the headaches and run-down shittyness
never been sick from bud though

drink alot of water and smoke more... I got like that once cuz I was dehydrated and didn't know it till I smoked.

i remember once back in my highschool days we smoked some oil and i ended up lying on the ground the whole time i was high i was so ill.
i also remember my buddy got really high once, climed a tree and puked out some foamy shit while he was up in the tree.

i think getting sick from weed is a newby thing cause it hasnt happened to me in years

The answer to this question is simple. Your friend swallowed alot of smoke cause that will fuck up your stomach and make you puke. Trust me i know from expierence.

yeh, i have heard of geting smoke in your belly, and it fucks you up so much, it is such a bitch, i have had it a few times, it made me feel realy sick, but i didn't throw up, i get it some times. when you take a hit, breath in the fresh air at the same time, to make sure it goes straight in to your lungs

In england it's called a whitey... and I think it happens if you smoke a lot in a short space of time. Just too much for your insides or something.
That's why it happens more to newbies... cos "a lot" isn't really that much.

It happened to me once.... I had 3 bongs within 10 minutes of waking up once. I puked up a lung... but afterwards I felt great!!

yo dudes thanks a lot i think he'll be ok. it happened friday (today is monday night) and we were pretty freaked out so i came to only place where i could get a good answer (the one the only grasscity)... we were freaked cuz i had no clue wut was wrong cuz it never happened to me before and hes kind of a beginner, hes only smoked like 5 times... plus we were baked so i thought what he was throwing up was blood, i wasn't sure... but anyhow hes ok he was tired as shit but hes back up and running, the sad part is he wants to take a break from weed (for obvious reasons) i tried to convince him not to but he was reluctant so obvioulsy i'm not gonna be a dick and force him too... but its all cool and thanks for your help dudes.. peace
