Question Hash Oil Question

Okay, today I decided to turn all of the remains of the one male plant I grew in to hash oil, so I soaked all the leaves in rubbing alcohol and drained them over and over again and the result was a surprise.

I got a liquid that smelled like literally grass, not weed grass, and instead of getting a brown liquid, it was green (and now, so are my hands.)

Did I do this right?
