Is Sour Diesel and NYC Diesel the same?

if they arnt wat are the major differences. like wat is it strain is it crossed with to make it diff, if it is diff?

Sour Diesel is 90% sativa and 10% indica. It is a cross between a female Mexican sativa and a male Chemo

New York City Diesel is a 60% sativa and a 40% indica. It is a cross between a female Sour Diesel and a male Afghani-Hawaiian

they taste and smell totally different too right? at least that's what i experienced. one actually tasted and smelled like diesel fuel still i good high tho

The keeper pheno of NYCD is more of a citrus/red grapefruit smell than a diesel flavor.

Its nowhere near as flavorful as the sour d imo.

If you're going to be purchasing cannabis literature I'd recommend the Cannabible (I,II,&III) by Jason King. Excellent bud shots and great history/descriptions. Love flipping through them when I'm baked, it's so much fun to look at all the amazing varieties of our lovely plant. "Oh this would be such a nice smoke", "Ooo now this is what I'm taking about", "Oh no man this one is definitely the sickest" and so on and so forth.
