Best water level for Roor with ashcatcher?

I am having a hard time clearing my Roor Little Sista that I just got, it seems like it should be easier. It has an ashcatcher, which I know will add some drag. Does it just take some getting used to? I tried having the ashcatcher water level just above the downstem, and the Roor water level slightly more above the downstem, maybe half an inch. Is this about right? I'm used to the hit coming to me easier, but with the Roor and ashcatcher, I have to really go down and get it. Any opinions?

Something weird going on....your water levels seem correct, but it shouldnt be that hard. Maybe you just were not meant to toke bongs...because I can fill and clear my Lil Sis with AC about 3 times in one breath.

try this bro

pack a half bowl (don't tamp it down hard)

now stand up bend your knees a bit and hunch foward slightly

exhale fully and then some

knees still bent cherry your bowl in quick sweeps milk the whole bong white drop the lighter and pull your bowl and keep that slow bow-in-drag going on the inhale

as you finish start standing straight up again hold it in till ya feel good and slowly exhale

take a breather using the same exhale past what your brain thinks is the limit thing ..least a minute

repack rip again

try to pack only as much as you'll clear in one go as that end goal may help your mind push to see those lil red dots fly inta yer ashcatcher lol

I smoked out of it all weekend and got the hang of it after awhile. I am just used to carbed bongs, it's weird. But I love the Roor now, much smoother smoke with the diffuser and ashcatcher.
