Hey, my fellow stoner buds in crime!

I would really love to hear any info on vaporizing -- what is the high really like? Also, is it very efficient?

I saw a couple threads, showing some home-crafted vaps...I'd like to know more about those, and also would like to know what 'commercial' vaporizers anyone's used, and if you're happy with it.

I've seen quite a variety on the net, anything from simple glass pipes you heat with a lighter to digital set-ups that cost a small fortune. Just wondering what's really worth it?

Am interested in trying this out, since I have a, well, 'high-level' of cannabis consumption (hehe)....

how's the 'high' when you vaporize? better, worse, the same, as smoking a joint or using a bong?

Whats up stanggirl. Although Ive never used a vaporizer to smoke, I've heard that the high lasts longer and is more 'intense'. As for home made ones, I guess it would be pretty easy. Just get a container to hold the air in and something to put and heat the weed on, and get it to a high temp and make a part for you to inhale through.

Thanks, I might take a look into trying to craft a homemade version, before I make such an outlay of cash for a commercial one. I've seen so many online, but they're all so dang different that I get totally confused...

I do have to admit that it would be nice to have a small vap for when I have to keep the smell down to a minimum (i.e. staying at the folks house, etc etc).

The infamous 'sticky green' odor landed me in the doghouse with my inlaws last summer, after they smelled it in the bathroom at their cabin. Damn, from the way they acted, it was like I was shooting heroin and smoking crack all at the same time in their cabin!!

Oh well....life goes on in the life of a dedicated cannabis lover!!
