What came from the stems is kief none the less, but the THC content of the stems isn't nearly as high as that of buds. That ground up stemage is good for making hash and or hash butter, I'd think.. Get enough of it, and I'd imagine it'll do. =P

yeah, but the stems are in the buds so they're usually coated with crystals, especially all the "white" plants, like white widow and white rhino, sometimes the stems look more white then green.
all you need to do is put your stems in a grinder with a screen and put a couple coins in over the screen and shake it back and forth for a while I did it with about an ounce of stems and got like 5-6 full bowls of kief. |

You really need to take a close up look at what you have collected from the stems. Get a 20 x mag. glass from radio shack, look CLOSELY at the pile of residue. If you see lots of globular, shiny round balloon- headed like particles that shimmer in light like jewels, smile and smoke up. If you just wind up with a bunch of white fuzz and redhairs, shit smoke it anyway, but obviously, t-chomes are what you want to look for.
