Ok i have a micky of bacardi and i want to take some shots and get a buzz going, but do u guys think it weird to drink by your self? I dont mean like big drinking jus some shots. I just want to chill a lil bit hammed in my room and i have a spliff rolled up so it should be good. But the drinking solo bothers me lol cause drinking is a social thing.

I've done it, if you're just wanting to get a little buzzed and not shitfaced there isn't any problems (even if you do get shitfaced...your not going to die).

I say have fun, alcohol is just another drug. Be responsible and all is well.

well I am dry right now and I raided my dads liquer cabinet (fucker has some nice scotch, crown and various other liquors) I am drinkin a whiskey sour (squirt is sour right?) cuz he had a gallon of winsor. Have fun tonight cheers!

George Thorogood (sp?) made a song called "I drink alone"...but chances are he was a raging alchoholic! Just be aware that alcholism is a very serious sickness man, be safe. It starts just like any other addiction; coupla shots here and there...wait what am I saying??? I sound like a worried parent!! Geeeess.......

Drinking by yourself isn't a terrible thing, but I'd go with a few beers and save the harder alcohol for a more social setting. And yeah, watch yourself, alcohol can mess you up..

Drinking alone can be a very slippery slope... Personally, I haven't done it for years, bar the odd glass of bubbly.

Not a great idea, for many reasons, but chiefly because one's inebriation will be different when alone to when in company, and can be unpredictable, therefore leading to an increased risk of accidents etc.

IMO there is nothing wrong with drinking alone (or doing anything that makes you not sober alone). As long as you can handle yourself, and as long as theres nothing else that you would have to do but couldn't because your shit faced (if your just bored wasting time), then by all means go for it!

Edit: Just curious, why do you guys advise against him getting really drunk by himself?

ive drank by myself before....if im bored as hell, or just want to hang out by myself, ill grab a twelver and get drunk and watch tv and shit...nothing wrong with that IMO...id rather do that every once and a while than go out every night and get trashed

Personally, I dont really like drinking too much because of the fact that you always hear "I got drunk and smacked my girlfriend", or "I got drunk and tried to rob that 7-11 down the street". You never hear people doing shit like that from being high. Sometimes however drinking is more enjoyable then smoking in a right situation, but in my opinion, not alone.

Also, am I the only one who thinks smoking and drinking is pointless. I never feel the high when I'm drunk.... But..... do what you want to do
