Giving up weed is harder than I thought
For my new years resolution (dunno if anywhere other than UK does this, but basicly its a pledge to in some way better yourself in the coming year) I decided to give up weed, as a personal challenge. I haven't been smoking for that long, only about 6 months but I did smoke quite regulary, about 2 times a week I would get totally wrecked. Now its been 2 weeks without getting high and all I can think about is wanting a smoke. I mean I can cope, but its like losing a close friend, ya know? Its affecting me far more than I thought it would. Does anyone else know what I mean? Its like being on a really really hard diet.

man giving up weed is harder than most might think, i gave it up for 10 months (i found the right girl) I THOUGHT!!! and i had no cravings what so ever, well we broke up and well i ended up with a tattoo i regret and 10 months i quit getting high. it sucked

yup
as of now i havent smoked for 21 days but i am getting some this weekend. i know what you mean when you say you are loosing a friend cause you dont feel withdrawls like i want it i want it it more like your sad that you arent doing it

I haven't smoke for like 2 weeks now.. I'm on probabtion for my DUI and I have fuckin court on wed.. I'm looking forward to it though because I can smoke for another 2 weeks till my next court date.. It does really suck especially if you friends are always smoking and you have to watch them smokin... Makes you just wanna take the bowl and toke some....

about the resolution thing- we dont have new years resolutions here in america. nope, never heard of that stupid shit.
anyway, i have not smoked since... hold on now about this afternoon. well goddamn. haha. i am glad i am not even gonna try to quit. i cant even imagine not smoking all the time. haha peace

Lots of respect to those who can abstain!!
My resolution was to stop smoking for a month, for financial and health reasons. My lungs are hurting a bit from smoking everyday for 5 years now. I started Jan 6th until today. Which makes it exactly 8 days!!!! first non-high days for a long long long long time. I'm not even stressin at all, i've actually impressed myself! I am doing more homework,which is reall important to me as well. I know yall weedheads out there are asking us WHY!?!?!? but its all good... just puff away guys... more for you guys! Goodluck to you guys who are stopping, breaking, smoking more. peace

havent smoked fo like 5 or 4 days and going strong although i miss it but im still drinking lol buy im glad i quit smoking cause its really bad jk lmao no i just fell weird that i havent smoked like sometimes me and my friends will get waves and it feel like were steond anyone ever feel this too?

I smoke quite regularly, like everyday. I quit for 6 months then when it got cold and rainy in winter I immediately went back to smoking and I dont know why I even tried to quit in the first place.

yea i had to lay back on the smoking a couple months ago because of school and stupid drug bust. it wasnt that bad i stopped and aslong as i didnt have any bud around me i would be fine ... the second some1 would offer it i would want to but i knew i couldnt ... o well thats all over with i can toke when ever now ...

Ive been smokin for ,uh, what was I talkin about, oh yea , 18 years, and every day for at least 8. (Except the occational week off once every year or 2 for travelling or whatnot.) I need my medicine. I find for me that early mornin smokin doesn't get me near as high as it does after eating lunch at noon. I get kinda grouchy without it, as I am married. haha

i quit 4 and a half months ago due to probation and piss tests and its not bad at all...dont get me wrong i would love to smoke and will in a month and a half.. but quitting wasnt a big deal...and i smoked everyday for probably 3 years before that...with a few days here and there sober..
but i do drink myself stupid ALOT lately...THATS gonna be a bitch to quit
