help with macro mode

im trying to get pics of my bud on here but i cant figure out how to use the macro mode...like i have it in the mode but the pics arent clear????
help because i have some super crystally shit!

first you need to know your macro's range
and the biggest problem people do is if you don't have an SLR you need to let it auto focus first, which on most cameras all you do is hold the button down halfway till it's infocus then take the pic

For one thing, you need to take the picture with the camera on something thats not moving (like a desk) as well as the bud. The way I do it is I take my cam, set it on my desk, take a pic of my bud on something that elevates it to where the camera is focused (my digi scale works perfectly). Another important thing to do is to give it a background(I use a folded sheet of white paper), this allows the camera to have a more even plane of focus, and focusing on your buds will be more likely. Also you'll want a flat surface of buds facing the camera so more of them will be in focus and it looks nicer. So now we have the cam, in macro mode, facing the elevated weed, with a background, set your light setting on the cam to match what you're using (don't use flash) and whatever you use, (mine is a bright desk fluorescent energy saver) have it close to the bud to illuminate the bud and trichs.

pictures wont be clear for the following reasons:

lighting - flash overcompensation/too much flash, under lighting

blurring - shutter speed too slow/moving the camera

focusing - too close to the subject, camera focusing on another object/cant attain focus
