Anyway to make a glass bong out of a wine bottle with no drill?

Right now I got a 1L sprite bottle as a bong and I find it took small and its giving really harsh hits, is there anyway to make a hole in a glass wine bottle with no drill? also, if I were to use a 2L sprite bottle, would that be too big?

Unless you own a torch of some sort, there isnt really a way.

I would use a glass drill bit, but since you can't get a glass scriber, and scribe a small circle where you want your whole, and make sure you cut deep into the glass, and then strike it soundly, if you did it right, the circle will just fall right into the bottle, and then you just dump it out. If you did it right, it should be in the exact shape you cut, and it shouldn't crack the glass on the rest of the bottle. I have made bongs like this using 3 litre canadian club wiskey bottles (don't make them anymore, but there are slot floating around there still). THese are big ass glass bottles, and make a fine bong. I have made a few, so I am prety good at doing it now. The first couple times I tried making a bong out of glass this way, the fucking things would shatter in my hands. SO be careful, and it might even be a good idea to wear gloves....just in case...although I don't.

P.S. heat is not an option the heat will make it break, unless you have a special unit to cool it down all at once(never seen one myself). You can try but don't say I did not warn you, you will get it all heated up and ready to go and then, snap! It will crack and break. Good luck though

you can get it as hot as you want, and it shouldn't break. Just make sure you let it chill for a good long while before you put anything cold in it. rapid hot to cold is what breaks glass. if you can't get a hold of a drill, you need to get one of those glass scribe things, and then etch the fuck out of the glass, but it's definitely risky business. you'd be better off making a waterfall bong out of the wine bottle without a drill, since you won't be able to properly angle the hole doing it by hand. just make your hole at the bottom on the side, put a little duct tape, and fashion a bowl for the mouth of the bottle. fill it up with water, load the bowl, and as you torch it, lift up the tape.

ps. dremels are the tits.

normally people use kilns to heat up and cool down glass gradually but your oven might work wee enough. get it as hot as you can in your oven get a garden hose or something to stick on the mouth of the bottle get a torch and torch the fuck out of the one spot you want the hole and blow into the hose. it will make a little bubble then it will pop leaving a hole. put it back in the oven when your down and cool it down gradually

Man, nobody is thinking outside the box. You can make a water pipe with both the bowl and the mouthpiece coming out of the top of the bottle.

To make the hits a lot smoother you can somehow make a homemade with ice catchers on it like mine. I will post pics later but the easiest and what I do for all my homemade bongs is get a sharpie and clean all the insides out. Then heat up a knife for each slit and make like 10 to 15 small slits in the bottom of the sharpie then either make it your downstem or attach and seal it to your downstem. It diffuses the smoke and makes the BIGGEST difference I have ever noticed. It will help you out tons and won't need glass if you do. PM me for further explaination if you need it or if you have any trouble with making it.

make a plug for the top hole, with both a bowl w/long downstem, and a long mouthpiece with no downstem. make the bowl removable for a slide/clearing action.
no glass cutting required.
just pop the plug out, and fill up, put the plug back in and smoke.
