I have decided to take a tolerance break for 2 months to get back to my normal ways of living.

For those of you that have quit or taken a tolerance break tell me the benefits of a quitting.

Although I have never taken one, I know that a tolerance break does generally tend to make you feel a lot smarter and more in touch with reality.

I have to state the obvious here to PalmaDutch Im taking a tolerance break because I have been smoking multiple times a day for around 2 years. I think you should look into taking a tolerance break real soon PalmaDutch.

Speakin of stating the obvious, I believe the answer to your question lies in the question itself. When you say you're taking a tolerance break wouldn't your main benefit be breaking tolerance? There are also other benefits of quitting weed but those are usually unique to the individual. Therefore it may prove difficult for someone to tell you what a tolerance break will do for you other than the obvious lowering of tolerance itself.

OMG. i just took a one week tolerance break and last night after smoking, not only did i get the highest i have ever been, but the trip kicked in insanly fast and for a long time. also i had some really nice mild halucinations. when i closed my eyes it was like a music visualizer was playing in my head. tolerance breaks work

I always feel a lot clearer and, as someone above said, just smarter in general. I kind of like it.

Look at my sig. I have 4 days until my 3 month tolerence break is over. Stupid non stop drug tests and psychicals made me play it safe.

4 days left and then I cant wait to get that amazing high

Breaks are one of the positives about being a regular stoner. Gives you great dreams and bursts of creativity. Plus you'll get around to doing the shit you couldn't get yourself to do before...

Been on an almost year long break here.
Although it isn't a tolerance break,it's still a break.

The benefits that stand out to me are that your tolerance goes down,you save cash,and you have a clear head which can be nice from time to time.

I'm ending this break at the end of the month.

I'm a pretty irregular smoker, so my tolerance lowers over the course of the week, and seldom gets a chance to reach a peak; works out good.

Today is my 4th day of my tolerance break and I had one tiny bowl and was blazed off my ass. I was wondering if that little bowl will affect my tolerance break?

Dude I am on my 4th day of a tolerance break too! I've been smoking for over a year but that barely even counts because I've only smoked regularly for 3 months (at most) now. I've smoked once a day since early august, about half a bowl which got me ripped. Now it doesn't do quite as much.. I still get high and everything but its noticeably weaker and doesnt last as long. I wanna get back that super high feeling that I had 3 months back, and i've found that smoking more doesn't do anything. There is a limit.

I am planning on taking a week off and smoking a small bowl to see how well it worked. I dont really want to wait a long time when I didn't need to.

I would say that even though you smoked a tiny bowl, since you got blazed off your ass, that it will affect your tolerance break but only A LITTLE. The thing is, your planning on taking 2 months off.. and youve already stopped for 4 days. One blaze in that situation doesnt seem too powerful. But some people will go through all this shit to lower tolerance and then they ruin it by smoking a bowl which is not the fuckin point of a break. For example, they plan on taking a week off, and they go work out a lot, try to sweat, and drink massive amounts of water and pee every 20 minutes. Then they go waste all of that work by smoking a bowl or 2... i just dont get it.

but i think your straight man,,, hold on for the 2 months, smoking multiple times a day for 2 years is going to take a lot of time to repair. have some will power!!

And what is 5-htp? Im not a fan of "cheating" your body (e.g. taking diet pills instead of running/eating healthy; taking steroids, etc) but im still curious.
