where did the pics go... I want to make some bubble hash this weekend really bad and I dont feel nearly as comfortable about doing it without pics...

Also, it says that a coffee grinder isnt necessary... does this mean I could put finely ground bud into water and drop a couple ice cubes in there for the same effect?

My other question would be (but it was partially answered before) is what exactly is the difference between just collecting kief - I can do that pretty easily with my weed plate & silk screen - and hash? Are processes like the bubble hash even more potent? I've been experimenting with drying my pot in the oven lately, and it works wonderfully, so I haven't been collecting the kief. Would it still work with cured pot? It seems like the trichomes shrink from the outside after it's been in the oven, but I have no idea what the exact chemical process is. I'm sure they're still there in some form, being that my pot is even more potent afterwards ... so I guess what my whole point is, would doing bubble hash after curing it make it that much better?

Haha, anyway, sorry for all the questions. Hope I get some sort of an answer! Also, I buy high grade california most of the time. My dealer doesn't have any super fancy named stuff, but there's always a ton of trichomes on it.

Does anyone have an opinion as to which way is the purest and best hash?

I think the hash in Amsterdam is all rubbed hash, right? My impression is that they just rub it and dry it and there you go, hash. Is there a downside to rub hash such as not really being able to harvest or rub all the resin off the plant and if that's true which method lets you retain all the possible hash from the plant?

Another question I have about rub hash is if you were to pick a few branches of a plant to rub can you harvest new hash from those branches every couple weeks?

I just don't see myself wanting to make hash from the leaves if I have a good bud harvest.

well after looking into it.. it seems that its pretty pointless to make hash out of just buds so maybe i'll do it once i grow...

If you can tho keep all the different strains of cannibus seperate so you have oil that is from one type plant

Also , if you make a tube that looks like a long salt shaker and shoot onto a large mirror I.E a clossit mirror door . oil production is way easier ...

Have you ever had the drink called Bhang?!?!?
Its made with rubbed hash. Its cool. Look it up on erowid or somthing. It has been all over high times for several years.

Hey guys. I've made some oil and hash a few times.(Acetone method,Butane method,Bubble hash- blender method). Lately i've been using the butane method because it is the best i've tried, and i'm sick of fuckin around to get it all out. I've read about another method that you end up with the same product using a liquid non-polar solvent called hexane. I cant get this locally here in australia, can i use shellite instead? This is a non-polar solvent but im unsure if it is safe to use. If anyone could help me out it would be wonderful. Have a good day guys

how long to shake w/iso? seems 20-30 min is too long?
also,how much butane to use w/trim-honeybee says 2 cans but which size? and i think they were talking bud or no difference?
i got some good bho w/vape remains,btw
also- if u sprinkle resin over yr oil, it's easy to scrape

I actually just made some of the iso, I pretty much let stuff sit in the isopropyl for days, weeks, maybe some of it had been there for a month. I just let it dissolve the thc for a while. Given I made the iso over a long period maybe 6 months, in which I collected all my unsmokeable materials over that time, filled the the mason jar and usually just let it sit in there until I need to filter it to make room. I would recommend though is shake it, than leave it over night to dissolve, the bud with look like dark and and nasty when it is spent.

This might be really off the wall, but i was wondering if while using the butane method, I shot the weed first with a whip-cartridge to freeze the bud and brittle-up the trichomes. I figured it might insure you to get any and all extract the first time around. Im not sure if the whip=it gass would leave harmful residue, so i figured I owuld ask first

anybody have any experience with rub hash? i wanna get some from my plant , its in day 39 and just looks frosty all over. if i rubbed the whole plant what should i expect to get? just wonderin if its worth it
