what the hell is a bubbler

hey im lookin at bubblers and they look pretty tight and all but what the hell are they? how are they any more special then a hammer or a bowl? How you toke with em? Sorry but im a mad newbie and i dont know this shit so please help me out. BTW I ordered a piece from California Color Changers CCG and i am starting to hear everywhere that they blow majorly... anyone order from them? do they really suck as bad as everybody says? if so ima be really dissappointed and pissed off!!! Thanks guys I ordered the Color Splash spoon and beings the city is whiggin over me posting duplicate pics i cant put it up here but its under CCG bottom right first page. Has anyone ordered the color splash spoon or something like it from CCG? how was it???

its a water bong, and its better in my opinion because the water smooths the smoke, making it easier to hit it longer and harder. plus it gets you messed up!

Generally, whats referred to as a hammer is a "dry" pipe. A bubbler has the stem connected to the bowl, which goes down to the bottom. Add water. But a bubbler is hammer shaped from most I've seen. Heres my collection..(left side is hamm. bubbler- far right- dry hammer.
