Montreal Canada is dope!! smoke shops, strip clubs, etc...

yo i dunno if this is the right section but im in montreal right now and its dope as fuck. st catherines street is full of shit to do. tons of restaurants, stores, smoke shopes, strip clubs. im here looking at mcgill. coming from the US and never thought id be liking a college in canada but it seems pretty sweet. just wondering if anyone lives in the area or been here and what to do around here. obviously theres a ton of shit to do just wondering what ppl would reccomend.

im also planning on buying a nice peice wanna know what ppl think would be the best (bub, nice thick spoon, bong). right now im thinking the ideal peice for me would be either a heavy duty spoon or a bubbler. i really want to find a unique bubbler. whatever i get i want it to be CCG tho unless its really cool in other ways. i dont want to spend more than 100 bucks (american) and saw some really cool bubblers but they were like 400 bucks. im liking the head shops here tho and the huge fucking selections, a lot seem to be overpriced tho like a reg spoon thats nothing special goes for around 40-60 canadian

another thing that is dope is the drinking age is 18 since im under 21 that is dank. they dont even card you either most places. everyones so chill. like ppl just lightin up on the streets and drinking on the curb. i heard some bum ask this gangster for money and the guy laughed at him and the bum just says "at least i got you to laugh man have a good weekend". i haven't seen like any cops around at all either which seems cool/weird.

just wanted to share my experience with you guys and see if anyone is from here or been here and what they thought about montreal cause think its pretty dope i would def reccomend checking it out. wish i brought some weed with me but its still an awesome city without weed. im here for the weekend and lovin it. take it easy GC

that's cool dude. i would recommend a bubbler if your budget is 100, you should be able to get a nice one for 100.

Went there with my brother last year to check out colleges. Actually almost exactly a year ago, so I totally know what you mean. The place is beautiful this time of year. And it's just an awesome city/college.

Good luck if you decide you like it, it's pretty tough to get into.

If you're into indie/underground music there are a lot of really good record stores there.

My sister and two of my counsins go to McGill. I have visited Montreal many times and I always make a few stops on St. Catherines street. Montreal is definatly an amazing place.

Montreal in in Quebec, a french as a frist language speaking province, but still if your in a main city (montreal or quebec city) everybody knows english

just about everyone that speaks french here speaks english too. i guess you get a discount off ur tuiton to mcgill if u take french classes lol. its so diverse tho like a mix of everything

heartagram thats sweet i went on a tour of mcgill yesterday and heard about that old chocolate factory dorm. i guess its pretty nice. they also got a dorm that used to be a hotel so the rooms are really sweet

i found some really dope bubblers but the cheapest smallest one was like 100 canadian. i ended up buying this really fucking thick peice thats spirales with green and white. i didn't think it was fumed at all but the more i look at it i think it is on the inside. the glass is so thick tho, the guy took one similar to mine, a little thinner glass even, and hucked it off the concrete floor and it just fucking bounced and he picked it up and showed it to me and it was fine. its inside out i think but its colored on the inside with a really thick coating of clear glass on the outside. it was marked 45 canadian and when i went to pay i asked him if american money was fine and he was like sure that'll be 50 bucks american. and i was like damn really. and he was like yea the taxes here are pretty crazy. so i didn't think much of it until i did the math later and figured it shoulda only been like 44 american which pissed me off a little. but the more i look at my peice i love it so im not gonna complain plus the city is so dope im not gonna let something like that get me down. im thinking of going back tho and seeing if they'll throw in like a case or something but i dunno if its worth it. what do u think. anyway ill post pics when i get home probably tuesday. can't wait to christen this thick ass motherfucker lol

i wasn't complaining on the price i was just a little pissed someone would try to rip me off, but im not anymore. i love the peice and i found out that some stores exchange american with canadian 1:1 because the difference between the money is just about nothing now. so now im just siked to have such a dope peice, the more i look at it the more i love it
