Oh hey guys, wow I haven't seen this post in so long but... it really is quite smooth for a wooden pipe and haaa what exactly did you expect in a wooden pipe? I'd have to say that it's the sexiest wood pipe I've ever seen and it's by far going to be the smoothest for it's size. It's awesome in a lot of different ways but it cost me 70 big ones for that. I know most people would say "eww never" but this thing is EWW NEVER going to break, will always be a nice pipe, is an original and the same design of mine won't be made again and it's REPPIN PORTLAND BABY

I bought one two days ago at the Hempfest in Olympia Washington, and I had it signed by Jack Herer; it's 5 inches long and it was only $50.

So far I've really enjoyed it, it doesn't reek too badly of ganja (only out of the mouth holes) and it really does stay lit although I've never fully loaded it so that it goes for ages. It's a really good pipe, it came with this little packing tool and a bunch of screens as well as the pipe and some literature about it. Oh! And I got his book "The Emperor wears no clothes" new and signed by him as well.

Oh, and yes it does hit pretty smoothly.

that's pretty neat, odd that it's wooden but it's seems pretty cool. I'm just trying to figure out what the catch is, is the inside of the pipe like a maze or something like that?

Haha, thirdeye. Portland has some good shops, but I go to hotbox or Incense Magic. Incense Magic is the best in my opinion. They've got a huge selection and a clearance sale on their ceramic bongs which are all like $19.95 no matter the size.

Wow, what a bashing on wooden pipes!! I just read all the posts and I can't beleive all these smokers really feel this way about wooden pipes. IMHO, there is absolutely nothing out there that has more character in it than a nice wooden peice, just like the emperor himself! Everything about this pipe screams out Jack Herer. The way that it is made, the way you pack it, and finally the way it smokes! Do a little research on this gorgeous pipe before you complain about it being wood. To me, a wooden pipe is more organic than a glass pipe. Just my opinion.

I saw a video on youtube with jack herrer loading the pipe in a very complex way. Do you have to do this to get the desired hit, or can you just load up the bud?

That video is preety much shows the same way I pack my glass spoon. I grind the bud and put in piles. Add about 4-5 piles in the pipe then push it down with a AA battery.

A buddy of mine came to visit, and he brought a J.H. pipe. He didn't have the packing tool with him though. It still hit very smooth, and the smoke was significantly cooled down. I think that I would like to pick one up sometime.

I've smoked out of it at this year's festival. I didn't think it was worth the money. It does a good job of staying lit, but I'm not a wood person. lol Jack needs to get with 2007 and make a glass version.

Wow, I love how everyone automatically bashes it because it is wooden. I've done research on the Jack Herer pipe before even running into this post. Jack Herer is like a legendary stoner. The pipe is pretty complex and is better then a lot of the glass you guys are probably burning out of. Almost every hit from it is a green hit, supposed to give 25 nice hits from one bowl. I want to see your glass roll like that.
