Want to make a glass bong?

Here is what you need, these 2 bits, a dremmel, a nice jar or vase, downstem and slide. I can usually make a glass bong for 20 bucks or less, just depends on how nice you want to make it. I'm not sure how much the bits cost, as these were given to me, but I'm sure they wont be more than 20 bucks for both. First thing you do is figure out where to put the hole, using the diamond ball, drill all the way through the glass, the slower the better. Some people say fill the vase or jar with sand, and keep water on the hole while you are drilling, you can if you want, but i never do. After you have a hole through the glass, use the diamond cylinder bit and do circles with the dremmel to make the hole big enough for the downstem and grommet to fit snug and air tight. When it is the right size, wash off the glass dust, put the grommet in, and then the downstem and slide, fill with water, ice, or whatever you want, and have fun smoking out of a sweet glass bong you made in less than 30 minutes!

yup, thats precisely how we made Steve, our 2 foot clear beast. Hell, we did it for 13 dollars in the end. We just returned the bits and the dremel

forgot to mention, the brand of the bits is truebite, not sure if the part numbers will match other brands or not.

Do you use the bits by hand or with a power tool? if a power tool what one? (be specific if possible plz)

Uhm...i think a dremel was mentioned, and then you use the bits on teh dremel....?

Yea....seems pretty simple....

you only need one bit for this

carbide coated spade bit

Ive found using a drill press gives the best results

you can get them at lowes/home depot/ace hardware, probably even walmart.

ya iv been doing this too. iv made some sick ones-i always make the bowl and stem parts too but thats not cool i gess.

I just made a bong out of a vodka bottle i Had a few weeks ago.. my only problem is i havent been able to find the right size downstem, or a grommet??? i looked online for downstems but i cant find an 11mm or smaller!? ughh any help or suggestions?

Head shops sell grommets.
