Bong with a sore throat?

I have been smoking about once a day for the past month. Its been primarily out of a 3 inch spoon, and I have recently developed a sore throat. I searched and read up on how the harshness of the uncooled smoke from the spoon hurt my throat. Ive been taking some Vitamin C and drinking a lot of water and am starting to feel better. I want to smoke tonight and if I used a Bong (homemade of a 2L pop bottle) would this make my throat feel worse? Im just curious to weather or not I should just stop smoking completly until my throat heals, or use the bong? Would the Bong vs Spoon difference be only noticiable through the temp of smoke or would the bong also be less hurtful on my throat?Any other info is appreciated. Thanks for the help.

When I've got a sore throat my bong still irritates it. If it's right after mealtime, your throat may not hurt so much(works that way for me anyway, the food makes it hurt at first but then you don't notice it by the end) and maybe you could smoke a bit. If you lay off a few days until your better you'd be best off.

I would say take off from smoking from three days or so and take medicine for it during that time. I know three days may be rough considering you have been everyday but give it a shot.--Good luck

Yeah I agree don't rush it and let it heal, it'll probably be worth it and get wrecked when you do decide to smoke

i got a sore throat from smokin outta my 3 inch spoon 1 time, it was jus shitty dont try an smoke until ur done being sick. smoking and exposing ur throat even with a cooled smoke will slow down your recovery time from ur sore throat.

If you really wanna smoke just take smaller hits out of a bong, the bong will definatly cool the smoke alot more than a spoon. Just take a bunch of smaller hits and hold em longer

dont use the bong if you have been using it with the illness. i think it might be germy. make a new bong, and take it with ice, also if you can, get some propolis lozenges to suck on.. smooth, available from most drug stores

Is it possible your just sick. One time my buddy I smoke with pretty much everyday got sick, and still smoked everyday and it took him a whole lot longer for the respitory aspect of the cold to go away...
