| the ACTUAL effects of marijuana.. you HAVE to read this, im in utter amazement!!!
all i can say is that i have read every word of every article in the whole folder. the articles include the real effects of pot on your body, backed up with facts and a bibliography. ive checked every single one of them out and they all check out. you wouldnt beileve the reasons that pot was ACTUALLY made illegal for. if you download one thing in your life, it woudl have to be this. i printed out all the articles and made them into a packet with a cover sheet that i cleverly created. i gave the packet to my parents and it has compeltely changed their perspective on pot. they were seriously, the most ANTI-drug people i have ever met in my life. you have to read these articles! since i cant attach the zip file directly to my thread, ull have to go to the site and download it. GO TO THIS SITE http://www.confound.com/programs/ scroll to the very bottom and download the file. unzip it and enjoy. |

yes melteye, oh almighty master of reality and everything that encompasses it, tell us how dumb we are, we appreciate it oh so much In all seriousness I know how to open zip files and it's safe to assume the majority of people here do as well. most viruses do rely on carelessness, but impatience will prevail where common sense won't. Most people won't take the time to download this, even if it is good and/or useful

| well, heres a little excerpt from it for all of yall who refuse to download
MYTH - Marijuana causes brain damage The most celebrated study that claims to show brain damage is the rhesus monkey study of Dr. Robert Heath, done in the late 1970s. This study was reviewed by a distinguished panel of scientists sponsored by the Institute of Medicine and the National Academy of Sciences. Their results were published under the title, Marijuana and Health in 1982. Heath's work was sharply criticized for its insufficient sample size (only four monkeys), its failure to control experimental bias, and the misidentification of normal monkey brain structure as "damaged". Actual studies of human populations of marijuana users have shown no evidence of brain damage. For example, two studies from 1977, published in the Journal of the American Medical Association (JAMA) showed no evidence of brain damage in heavy users of marijuana. That same year, the American Medical Association (AMA) officially came out in favor of decriminalizing marijuana. That's not the sort of thing you'd expect if the AMA thought marijuana damaged the brain. |

I've had a link to that for a while now. http://www.hempcar.org/untoldstory/ I've always thought that it was one of the best articles I've read on the subject. I'm glad it's being shared. It's helped me back up many an argument. I'd printed it out when I first read it and it really opened the eyes of a lot of people. I recommend everyone read it.

I wrote something about legalization myself a while ago that I was gonna submit to marijuana.com, I either never got around to it or they didn't put it up on the front page, it's kind of long and goes on a couple tangeants but it's particularly relevant to what you guys are saying. Lemme know if anyone's interested please. (I'd just post it whether or not anyone's interested, but it's rather long and I wouldn't wanna bog down the thread if it's not welcome).
