HoWTo: Hide Smoking Marijuana Smell...

This method may or may not be known by many of you, but It seems not too many are aware of it so I will refresh the idea...

this idea primarily works best with pipe smoking, but can work almost equally well for joint and blunt smoking.

This will essentially cost you 0$, since most supplies can be found around any household.

Supplies Needed: One Used Toilet Paper roll, the cardboard cylinder the toilet paper is wrapped around. any object in this shape should do fine also. this is just very common around the household and much easier to use, You also need at most, 10 sheets of fabric softener. It is very simple to construct, all you do is ball up the fabric softener sheets individually, then lodge them into the roll, once you've filled the roll up a bit more than half way, pess down with your fingers on both sides at the same time, to compact the sheets slightly. your done.

it is simple to use, take a toke, hold your mouth up to one side, making sure it is completely covered and no smoke can escape from around your mouth, and blow out. The smoke blown out will smell exactly like the fabric softener, and will make your smoking area smell nice. This can be used with cigarettes also, any type of smoke in fact. Depending on how heavily it is used, it can last for months and months even with constant uses, and all that is needed is a new replacement of fabric softener.

Yeah those do work very well! Personally I just take a hit and hold it then blow the smoke under my bed or in the corner of my room towards the ground, and it never really spreads.

sounds like a good idea... what is fabric softener exactly? i've surely heard of it before but don't think i've used any..... any other names for it? i'd probably have some around the house...just don't know what i need to look for! lol

what about the excess smoke that comes out from the pipe or joint/blunt? its not very logical.. some people sware by it thought.. its probably because they're high

I'll explain why I added this line.. yes, the lit parts of what you smoke give off a smell too, but with pipes it can be much less, you can exstinguish the fire very easily by covering up the holes, and no smoke will escape, the quicker you do it the less smoke that escapes, the idea is to have the bulk of the smoke blown through the device so it gives the room a nice odor that should do well in covering the minimal amounts of smoke that escape when being lit. but with good practice, this can be brought down to almost zero, and it may sound like alot of work but it is very easy, and becomes 2nd nature..and definately worth the price of a clean smelling place at all times. you never know who would be knocking at your door at what hour. blunts and joints are a bit harder to cover up, but the device is still very effective. even if you smoke weed without it in a room with open windows it can smell like it even with good ventilation afterwards, this device reduces the smell almost completely. the trick is to have more smoking going through the device than there is smoke not going through it, such as from a pipe or joint. at the very least it will be MUCH easier to vent the smell out, but in the case of a pipe, you can keep the smell down to almost none. you can test it yourself. have a friend that hasn't smoked any come into the room after smoking and using the device, then have them tell you how nice it smells in there

btw, I've used this method to smoke a little on a greyhound bus, in the batheroom...no one was the wiser. but I bet the toilets smell probably helped cover it up too

Works great, we used to use this method when we were in the dorms, they didn't even allow you to smoke cigarettes and we got away with getting stoned. the smoke let out by the rest of the "smoking material" (blunt, bowl, bong) is usually covered up by the smell of the other smoke that smells like laundry. We were lucky because our RA didn't care if you smoked cigarettes though as long as they were out when she came in, so that explained the smoke, and my friend always left a pile of laundry out and why wondered why the RA never caught on to the same clothes being there.

Pipe, joints and blunts... Deffinetly not. With a bubbler and bong you can atleast suck thru the rest of the burning weed into the water where as pipes ull get a fireball in ur mouth or it will sit in the chamber. I also found that this method works better witha water bottle, just burn a couple holes in the bottom and stuff it with like 15-20 favric sheets and you will be set, i use to use the toilet paper roll but it gets flimsy and less effective as u use it more!

yeah this technique is far from new but I must say I am not a fan of it. I tried it in the dorms and it doesnt work as well as I thought. As far as blowing hits under the bed or in the corner, it definately reeks my friend. Weed smell is wayyy more recognizable and outhere than you think, you just cant smell it because you just smoked it.
