why are glass pipes better?

i'm new at this stuff, so why are glass pipes better? and should i get a bubbler?(i like the whlel water filter thing) does anybody make a small bubbler? (i don't want anything big) thanks

Glass is a good choice for a variety of reasons
glass doesnt get hot. If you'd used a metal pipe of some kind (cheap pocket pipe maybe) they get really hot if you plan to do some lengthened smoking. It's also chemically inert....meaning nothing flakes off, or is chemically started to change the flavor of your herb. Its easily cleanable too (plus glass looks the coolest by far).

also, bubblers and bongs are nice because they filter out ash that can be irritating to inhale (i dont mind, but occasionally you'll catch a big ash and its not fun) they also cool the smoke some...to say, i cant think of a good word...but bong/bubbler smoke is SMOOTH (even though weed is already smooth to inhale...this helps a lot)

by small bubbler, a small one ive seen was about 7 inches long...only 2 or 3 bigger than your average glass spoon, and prob 10x better
