How are blunts wastefull?

Why does everyone say blunts are wastefull?They are reusuable. when your not hitting it its realy not burning its just burning the paper so how is it a waste of weed.?

It's burning paper AND weed. If you get in the right light, you can see how much smoke barrels off the end of that every second you're not hitting it.

You can set a bowl down for 5 minutes - and none of it's wasted... you leave a blunt for five minutes - and it's burned 2 or 3 hits by itself.

Plus - it takes like at least a gram to roll a good sized blunt.

That's not true.
The wrap and bud are both burning.
They are somewhat wasteful because they eat the herb faster than
it would in a spoon or what have you...
I'll only be down to match on a blunt if I'm hella stocked on herb.

It dpends on which type of blunt you use. I use duths The chocolate flavor ones will have you sitting there for hours. The same for the honey green ones. You dont need a gram to roll a blunt. You can either tear some paper off or just get a cigarillo.

im gonna go out on a wing here and say i agree with hollowpoint, ive never looked at blunts as wasteful. infact a bowl when in the process of lighting is far more wasteful IMO, even with cornering and all that. ive got a bowl and i *Can* use the same amount in a blunt, its gonna be a small blunt, but it still burns longer, and if you want to play it fair, you can extingush a blunt and it wouldnt burn any same with an extingished bowl. im all for bowls but i definately dont think blunts are that wasteful.

i agree blunts are pretty wasteful. i smoke 3-6 blunts a day and i always bring it up that we should get a vaporizer instead of buying mad blunts becuz we can burn less weed that way... but i doubt we will ever stop smoking blunts becuz they r just social.

well they are wasteful.. but its so worth it to be able to smoke with like 10 of your friends off the same blunt

get 2 grams of weed. roll 1 blunt in a blunt and smoke it in one sitting. when your not high anymore, smoke the other gram in a bong in 1 sitting in the same time it takes you to smoke a blunt and tell me which one got you higher

i can honestly say id be higher of two .5 blunts than two .5 bong loads. + it lasts hella longer and im puffin mad puffs

in a blunt in think you lose 40-50% of thc. in a bong you hardly lose any. imma bong man cuz it jus hits soo SMOOOOTH. me nd friends are social with the bong being past around. its about 14inches so its not one of those HUGE bongs. we sit in a circle nd jus chill passen that shit around. i can smike 2 blunts 1g each nd be buzzen pretty hard. but if i put that in a bong id be super faded and probly use 3/4 of it.
